Dear Members:
Each year we charge all of our members over 40, $50.00 plus tax for a gratuity which is distributed among the seasonal staff in Grounds, Golf Operations and Caretaking as a thank you for all their hard work and effort over the season.
Please note that this gratuity which is usually charged in the fall of each year, has been charged to your account in August. There are three reasons for this.
- The ROE (record of employment) has to be issued within 10 days of employment end.
- In previous years this was billed in October. This caused the need for amendments to all those that had left earlier and already received their ROE.
- Additionally, by processing the gratuity now, the seasonal staff receive their bonus at an important time as they return to school and incur those associated expenses.
