Irrigation Project Progress Report
The irrigation installation on the golf course is nearing completion. At present, the irrigation team has only a small section of one fairway and one tee remaining to be completed on the golf course itself. Once this work is finished, all golf course irrigation will be complete and only the driving range and roadway entrance will remain.
Several significant punch list items are scheduled to be addressed once work on the entrance road has been completed. While some of the major deficiencies and outstanding tasks will be completed at that time, the majority of the punch list work is anticipated to be carried out during the fall season, with completion targeted for late September or October. This timing will allow for final system adjustments, restoration work, and evaluation of irrigation performance after the system has been operating through the summer months. The process will involve lifting existing sod and leveling areas that have settled. This will produce a large amount of sod areas that will be much more manageable in the fall of the year with generally lower temperatures and much shorter daylight hours.
Overall, the project continues to progress well, with the irrigation installation entering its final stages and only a limited amount of construction remaining before the focus shifts to punch list completion and irrigation system refinement.
As always, please remember to repair your ballmarks on our greens surfaces and once you’ve finished raking a bunker, please leave the rakes inside the bunker as robots may be along shortly to mow the turf.
