Rethinking Refreshment at the Club
One of our goals this season has been to expand our beverage program with thoughtful choices for every member and every occasion. Whether you're celebrating with friends after your round, driving home, enjoying a lighter option, or simply looking for something refreshing on a hot August afternoon, we want every member and guest to feel there is a beverage they'll genuinely enjoy.
Non-alcoholic beverages are one category that has grown tremendously over the past few years. While many people choose them because they are driving, today's 0.0% beers and alcohol-free options have become just as popular with those looking to moderate their alcohol consumption, stay refreshed during the summer, or simply enjoy another beverage without the effects of alcohol. It is no longer about giving something up—it is about having more choice.
One product that continues to impress many of our members is Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%. We often hear that it tastes remarkably close to the original. Many European breweries have been perfecting alcohol-free beer for decades. Rather than creating a separate recipe, breweries such as Peroni brew the beer much like the original before carefully removing the alcohol. This process helps preserve the flavour, aroma, and crisp finish people associate with the brand.
While alcohol-free beer has advanced significantly over the years, alcohol-free wine continues to evolve. Recreating the body and complexity of traditional wine without alcohol is a much greater challenge, but the category has come a long way.
