If anyone knows of a guest named Brian Mathews, please contact Mark in the pro shop.  A golf club has been found with his name on it, presumably it was left at the club last season, but we have no way of getting in touch with him.

Mad River’s “Adopt a Hole” Program

In order to enhance the enjoyment of our great golf course we require the co-operation and participation of all our golfing members with our “Adopt A Hole” program.

Every golfer is responsible for fixing their own and if possible one other ball mark and replace or fill their own and if possible one other divot.

This program is designed to augment your personal effort in order to assist Chad and his Team to present the golf course as beautifully as possible.

We’re asking you to take additional care on “your hole” to fix ball marks, properly rake bunkers (during normal years), fill or replace divots and pick up miscellaneous garbage. Please see website link how to correctly repair ball marks and replace divots.

The holes have been assigned alphabetically with considerations to the length of the hole. We ask that you take special pride in the condition of “your hole” by doing the following;

- Throw broken or discarded tees in the garbage.
- Pick up any garbage you see.
- Replace any poorly replaced or loose divots while walking in the fairway.
- Fill any unfilled divots while walking in the fairway.
- Check the bunkers and rake any poorly or unraked bunkers (during normal years).
- Fix any and all ball marks on the greens while you are waiting to putt.
